Eng. Sami Osman is NELSAP’s Regional Water Resources Engineer with Fifteen years’ experience in Integrated Water Resources Management and Development (IWRM&D), Hydro-diplomacy, Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Climate Change. Eng. Sami is a graduate of Civil Engineering from the University of Khartoum (Sudan) and obtained his Master’s Degree in Hydro-informatics from IHE-Delft Institute for Water Education, the Netherlands.
Eng. Sami has managed and supervised various National, Regional and International Water Related Projects. Within his working experience he acquired project managerial and technical experience in the fields of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), Climate Risk Assessment, Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) including Water Quality Management, Water Policy and Strategy formulation, water resources modelling and decision support systems (DSS); institutional capacity building projects, Geographical Information management systems (GIS) and remote sensing (RS).
