Caroline E. Mwebaze is a dynamic and self-driven Water Resources Expert with over twenty (20) years’ experience in Integrated Water Resources planning, development and Management, working in both national and transboundary water systems. She holds an Msc. in Environment and Natural Resources, a Bsc. in Environmental Science Technology & Management and a Diploma in Water Engineering. Caroline completed her graduate studies at Makerere University, Uganda. She works as Senior Hydrologist with Government of Uganda in the Ministry of Water and Environment where she has been directly involved in operationalization of Lake and River Basin Organizations’ basin water resources planning management in the Albert and Victoria Water Management Zones. She has been involved in research to assess the spatial and temporal water availability and extreme events management for sustainable development in a changing climate. Her recent publication, ‘Assessing the Impact of Management Options on Water Allocation in River Mubuku-Sebwe Sub-Catchments of Lake Edward-George Basin’ has been basis for further research to understand the climate change dynamics in the Rwenzori Mountains, in collaboration with other stakeholders, specifically, Mountains of the Moon University, University College of London and the Ministry of Water and Environment.
