COVESA All Member Meeting 2023

Enabling the Dynamic Vehicle: Data, Services and Experience

COVESA is pleased to bring together the connected vehicle ecosystem during our Spring All Member Meeting in Porto. This meeting is open to members and non-members interested in the value that data and connectivity bring to current and future vehicles. The event program will feature both business-level and technical content, as well as a repeat of the popular Member Showcase and Reception mid-week during which buyers and sellers can interact over the latest offerings of products and services.

Tuesday’s program, beginning in the early afternoon, will start with an introductory session for attendees new to COVESA followed by the COVESA President’s Keynote. The remainder of the day will be given to thought leadership presentations by COVESA members and, in parallel, sessions to advance the technical activities of COVESA.

Throughout Wednesday, the program will continue in multiple tracks, one dedicated to business and thought leadership topics and the others focused on technical breakouts and workshops. Attendees will enjoy an evening of networking during the Member Showcase and Reception.

Thursday’s program will be largely technical in nature, during which active technical projects and groups will hold deeper-dive working sessions.

The hotel cut-off date has been extended to April 21, 2023.  Book your rooms now.

What to eat in Porto
What to eat in Porto

FRANCESINHA (food overload)

Consisting of chunky slices of chorizo, ham, or steak—sometimes all three—layered between two slices of thick bread, what sets the francesinha apart is the melted cheese in which it’s smothered. Sometimes a fried egg, sunny-side up, is added on top for more gooey goodness. There’s yet more to this famous sandwich: A gravy-like, tomato-based sauce is poured over for added umami. Tackle a famous francesinha served with a side of fries on an empty stomach once you’ve soaked up Porto’s wonderful attractions.

What to see in Porto
What to see in Porto

Porto is one of the most popular cities to visit in Europe right now – and for very good reason. Its stunning Old Town on the picturesque Douro River, complete with six bridges, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll find amazing Beaux Arts and Baroque churches, palaces and other buildings scattered around the city. As well, Porto has some of Europe’s best chefs and freshest seafood, caught right off the Portuguese coast.
