Ron Banister, M.D. has been very interested in entrepreneurship and creative thinking as it applies to Universities and Medicine. He was the sponsor of two TEDx programs at Texas Tech University, and has worked on several projects related to medicine, including Doppler radar with phased array for non-contact monitoring of respirations and heartbeat. He is currently exploring a combination of technologies to develop a low-cost AED patch that is driven and controlled by tablets in an online environment.
