The Oklahoma One-Call System, Inc. (OKIE811) is a non-profit 501(c)6 corporation, incorporated in the State of Oklahoma in 1979. It was formed to prevent damage to underground facilities. Thirty-seven companies originally joined in funding a statewide one-call notification center.
Today, we have 63 total employees with over 45 Agents that process statewide locate requests 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We receive requests from those that go online to our website and submit a web ticket.
OKIE811 has over 1,350 member companies that operate underground facilities across Oklahoma. When OKIE811 receives a locate request, we transmit a ticket to each underground facility operator with services in the dig area. OKIE811 DOES NOT mark the lines; the facility operator sends a locator to the excavation site to mark the approximate location of their underground facilities in the area.
