SKY Resilience is an evidence-based experiential and interactive mind-body resilience-building program for law enforcement officers, first responders, departmental staff, and their families that equips them with prevention strategies for occupational stress, improved focus, mental health, and enhanced resilience. Research at institutes such as Harvard, Yale and Stanford have demonstrated that SKY Breath Meditation (SKY) decreases anxiety, depression and stress, while improving well-being, positive emotions, mindfulness and social connection. Our breath-based meditation techniques address the roots of the extreme stress of police life including occupational and organizational stress, traumatic loss, chronic stress, occupational stress injury, and the ability to reintegrate with family and community when off-duty. This program is offered by The International Association for Human Values (IAHV), a Canadian Charity registered with the Canada Revenue Agency with an international reach and special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations.
