The Michigan Traffic Crash Facts (MTCF) website was developed by the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) for the Office of Highway Safety Planning (OHSP) as an aid for data driven safety planning. The MTCF website provides users with annual official Michigan crash data for public use. Easy access to traffic crash data provides users with the opportunity to identify and analyze problems, implement countermeasures, and evaluate impact to improve safety on Michigan roadways.
