Interfluve started in 1984 when a few fly-fishing scientists combined their passion for rivers with knowledge of geomorphology, fish biology, and hydrology to return abused trout streams into the Blue Ribbon fisheries they once were.
Today, Inter-Fluveās team of scientists and engineers maintains expertise in hydraulic engineering, fluvial geomorphology, stream ecology, wetland science, fisheries, surveying, soils and horticulture. Our projects include natural channel restoration, floodplain restoration, dam removal, cranberry bog restoration, alpine meadow restoration, mineland river restoration, urban stream reclamation, and engineered large wood applications.
