Founded in 2017, Wisconsin's Green Fire (WGF) provides science-based information to policy makers, state and local agencies, and citizens who care about our conservation tradition and sustaining our natural resources. WGF is nonpartisan and independent with members that represent extensive experience in natural resource management, environmental law and policy, scientific research, and education. Our members have backgrounds in government, non-governmental organizations, universities and colleges and the private sector. We also have general members who support our work financially or with other skills. WGF has a very active and growing membership and numerous work groups, including one that focuses on Public Trust and Wetland issues.
