K-PowerNet is a wholly owned subsidiary of KAMO Power. KAMO supplies power to 17 rural electric cooperatives serving more than 344,000 consumers in Missouri and Oklahoma.
In 2000, K-PowerNet was created to market excess fiber made available from the construction of a fiber optic system built to meet the communications needs of KAMO Power and its member cooperative distribution systems. Utilizing the remaining fiber, K-PowerNet provides broadband internet and state-of-the-art, carrier grade telecommunications services to rural areas in four states.
K-PowerNet offers wholesale and retail fiber-based telecommunication services in Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. For the service provider, we offer a competitive solution for inter-LATA and intra-LATA transport as well as local access. K-PowerNet has presence in three carrier hotels – Rack59 in Oklahoma City, Tierpoint 1 and 2 in Tulsa, and Netrality in Kansas City.
