ICGFM DC Forum Luncheon September 11, 2019
A Conversation on Performance-Based Financing for Health
September 11, 2019  ·  Carnegie Endowment for International Peace

A Three Course, Served Luncheon is included, Registration is required to attend.

Please join us for a conversation on performance-based financing (PBF) for health. PBF is a complex health systems intervention aimed at improving coverage and quality of care. Dr. Damien de Walque will provide an overview of the World Bank’s impact evaluation portfolio of PBF for health interventions, and then dive into a case study of PBF in Cameroon. The impact evaluation in Cameroon seeks to isolate the role of specific components of the PBF approach on health outcomes of interest, such as explicit financial incentives linked to results, additional resources available at the point of service delivery (not linked to performance), and enhanced supervision, coaching and monitoring.
