Mission Explored 15-17 November 2024
Exploring 8 Missionary Core Values through a residential weekend event
November 15 - 17, 2024  ·  Cloverley Hall

What Is It?

Exploring your role in God’s mission to the unreached?  Want to see if Pioneers could be a good ministry partner?  Then Mission:Explored is a weekend for you!

Be stirred by our core values, learn about the needs across the world and leave with an action plan for your next steps in mission, whether with Pioneers or not!  Though not a 'training' event, Pioneers has designed the weekend to be very interactive and touch on key issues in missions, but with a flavour of Pioneers.

What Can I Expect?

We’ll explore key issues for cross-cultural ministry, with each workshop geared towards Pioneers' core values. Sessions include:

  • Passion for God – How does a passion for God drive missionary passion and work?
  • Reaching the Unreached/Status of our World – The % of non-Christians in the world is increasing. The global church is falling behind in its God given mission. What will you do about it?
  • Church-Planting Principles – Many think they are not church planters because of a narrow idea of what church planting is. You could be more suitable than you think!
  • Local Church – How your local church can help you to nurture, discern, send, invest and support you. Opportunities to tackle nitty gritty issues of fund raising, accountability, missionary care, etc.
  • Team Styles – You may be surprised to know one of the big challenges for new missionaries to the field is team dynamics
  • Ethos of Grace – bearers of God’s grace must be practitioners of grace
  • Innovation & flexibility – Can business, or farming, or sports, or robotics, be useful in mission? Not only yes, but an increasing necessity. Innovation & flexibility are needed to overcome restrictions.
  • Preparing to Go - practical workshop to develop your next steps

Besides the above sessions, there is ample opportunity for you to speak with any of the speakers on anything you wish pertaining to missions! The event is kept to a small group size of maximum 16 participants to ensure this.
