Join us for a free half-day course with the Endocrine Surgery and Endocrinology team from New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Our faculty will share best practices based on the most recent data and clinical experience treating the most complex cases of thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal diseases. Topics to be covered include updates in treatment guidelines, surgical techniques, transformative treatment innovations, and humanistic, personalized approaches to care.
Learning Objectives
- Understand management and apply innovative treatment options for benign thyroid disease and thyroid cancer.
- Evaluate patients according to the newest guidelines regarding primary and tertiary hyperparathyroidism and understand factors in patient selection for surgical intervention.
- Apply appropriate strategies in planning surgical approach to adrenalectomy.
Target Audience
The event is designed for practicing community-based surgeons, endocrinologists, and primary care providers who treat endocrine diseases. We welcome the participation of allied health professionals including nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are integral members of the treatment team. Surgical and medical residents and fellows in training, and research personnel are encouraged to participate in the summit.

The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) recognizes the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as approved accreditors and allow reciprocity for AANPCP continuing education credit.
Satisfactory Completion
Learners must complete an evaluation form to receive a certificate of completion. Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety. Partial credit of individual sessions is not available. If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed above, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.
