Summary:

This training will enhance your understanding of the relationship between gaming and gambling and the impact these behaviors may have on wellness.  Taking a deeper look at some of the common comorbidities with gambling disorder utilizing case examples and audience discussion on ways to incorporate gambling conversations into therapeutic practice.  And will explore alternative treatment modalities that can be used alone or in support of evidenced based practice in the treatment of gambling disorders.

·         Discuss the similarities and differences between gaming and gambling and the potential for developing an addictive disorder. 

·         Develop a greater understanding of the convergence of behavioral health disorders and gambling.

·         Discover holistic therapies that can be utilized in conjunction with formal therapy to support gambling recovery.
