Residential Fire Sprinkler Requirements per the National
Building Code of Canada
Residential sprinklers were first created and developed in
the 1980’s and have been utilized and implemented globally since the late 1980’s
and early 1990’s. The Residential Fire Sprinkler technology has been adapting
and evolving for the past 40 years, and with technical advancements evolving
faster and faster, many of the design and installation parameters have evolved
and expanded over the past decade. This seminar is designed specifically to
cover all the residential fire sprinkler requirements found in NFPA 13D, NFPA 13R,
and NFPA 13, as well as review and discuss the specific requirements and
incentives found in the National Building code of Canada. The seminar will
cover basic design layout requirements, installation requirements, obstruction
clearances, and review the approved residential fire sprinkler design methods.
All attendee's will receive a workbook and will receive a certificate of attendance, which in many cases can be used for Continued Education Units (CEU's)
