Hydrology Fundamentals Field Training - Little Plover River Watershed (Portage County)
This is one of three field-based trainings that will be offered this summer as part of the hydrology fundamentals and hydrologic assessment training series developed by DATCP and Wisconsin Wetlands Association.

Purpose:

The purpose of these trainings is to provide opportunities for participants to:

1) observe the landscape from the perspective of source, transport and depositional zones; 

2) practice reading the landscape to recognize the basic characteristics of degraded hydrology; and, 

3) appraise whether hydrologic restoration could be effectively applied to address site-specific or downstream resource concerns.

DATCP's Conservation Engineering Unit, Wisconsin Wetlands Association, and Portage County Land Conservation Department.  

Note: Registration is free but capped at 30 people so please only register if you are certain you can attend.
