This course explores the vital role of power monitoring in achieving energy efficiency compliance. Participants will identify key codes and standards, including IECC, LEED and ASHRAE 90.1, NY local laws and gain insight into the diverse landscape of code adoption in the region. The course covers the scope of energy codes for different construction types, examines their various provisions, and highlights specific power monitoring requirements embedded within these codes. By the end, learners will understand how these standards shape design and operational practices to meet regulatory and sustainability goals. Additionally, the course will cover the architecture of energy and power monitoring systems.
