The Texas Housing Association proudly presents its Annual Conference & Trade Show, celebrating a historic milestone - our Diamond Jubilee: 75 Years of Housing, Community, and Impact. This special anniversary event will be held August 25–27, 2026, at the Worthington Renaissance Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas.

Bringing together professionals from across the state, the conference serves as a premier gathering for Housing Authority executive directors, management and financial staff, commissioners, and maintenance personnel, along with industry partners and vendors who provide essential products and services to support housing operations.

Attendees will experience a dynamic program designed to inform, connect, and inspire. The conference features a comprehensive trade show and a wide range of educational sessions organized into targeted tracks, including:

Designed for PHAs with 250 or fewer public housing units, this session explores the process of converting to Project-Based Vouchers, including key considerations, benefits, challenges and what to expect before and after conversion.
A focused session on how executive leaders can successfully oversee multiple housing authorities, with practical strategies for governance alignment, staffing models, and maximizing administrative efficiency across portfolios.
Learn how utility consumption and rates are calculated and applied in accordance with HUD guidelines, including key factors that impact utility allowances and compliance.
