The theme for this year’s convention is “Integration & Collaboration amidst Transformational Changes”. IFRS 17, Digital Transformation and Data Analytics and Disruptive Innovation/Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Facial Scanning, cheaper Genetic Testing among others – these are expected to bring significant changes that will TRANSFORM the way we do and think about things - affecting how we work as actuaries whether we are working in financial reporting, product development, risk or reinsurance.  This year’s theme challenges actuaries to start to be curious, INTEGRATE this new information with what we know now to further enhance our knowledge and consequently, be ready to COLLABORATE with our colleagues within and other industries including our regulators to drive appropriate actions or solutions. Through this, we ensure that our profession continues to be relevant in serving public interest now and in the future.

In support of this theme, there will be paper presentations on key developments and innovations that will or could potentially affect actuaries and the importance of integration and collaboration between actuaries and colleagues across industries, private and public sectors, and economies. We have invited as speakers and participants local and foreign actuaries, representatives from the Philippine Insurance Commission, life and non-life insurance, health management office and pre-need companies as well as thought leaders and industry experts from allied fields.
