· Describe current and emerging
epidemiologic trends in gout, including factors contributing to increasing
disease complexity and comorbidity burden.
· Evaluate contemporary urate-lowering
strategies, including treatment targets, optimal timing of therapy & common
gaps between guidelines.
· Explain the mechanisms of action,
indications & safety considerations of biologic therapies used in refractory
gout, and appropriate monitoring strategies.
· Apply expert-recommended approaches to
complex gout cases, integrating clinical experience with evidence-based
guidelines.

immunomodulation in difficult-to-treat gout, including strategies
to optimize efficacy while minimizing adverse effects.

into the care of patients with advanced chronic kidney disease, balancing
therapeutic risks and benefits.

using interactive, case-based discussion to develop practical, patient-centered
management plans.
