Columbia CT Surgery and CVRI to host an annual Regional Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgical Trainee Research Symposium, bringing together residents and faculty mentors in Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery from institutions across NY, CT and NJ. Residents and Fellows to present their clinical and basic science research.
Goal & Key Objective:
Foster inter-institutional collaboration, provide a platform for research presentations and strengthen academic and professional networks among trainees and faculty of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery training programs.
Facilitate resident and faculty collaboration, potentially leading to cross-institutional research projects and exchange opportunities. This program will also serve as a platform for institutions to discuss advancements in surgical education and research.
