Fire Sprinkler Incentives / Benefits per the National Building Code of Canada

This seminar will review the benefits of building a building with a fire sprinkler system in accordance with the National Building Code of Canada. Throughout the National Building Code of Canada there are many relaxations and or benefits that can be taken advantage of when a fire sprinkler system is installed. Some examples include; larger building areas; reduced fire ratings for wall and roof assemblies; and optional building construction types. This seminar is designed for the building community, including professional engineers, architects, consultants, building and fire officials and fire sprinkler technicians. 

All attendee's will receive a workbook and will receive a certificate of attendance, which in many cases can be used for Continued Education Units (CEU's)

James Hook

James Hook is the Manager of Codes and Technical Standards at the Canadian Automatic Sprinkler Association. James attended BCIT for Mechanical drafting. James has over twenty three years of experience in the Fire Sprinkler Industry.
