Vapor Intrusion: 4 Easy Steps to Efficient VI Mitigation - 1 PDH
Webinar / 12:00pm-1:00pm / Cost: $35 Member / $45 Non-Member
August 24 - 22, 2022

NYSSPE has partnered with Clean Vapor

The course starts out by answering the question What IS vapor intrusion? Plume delineation is explained, followed by procedures and methodologies for sub-slab pressure field extension testing. Next, design variables are discussed, including temperature zones, building-use groups and code compliance.

Mitigation requirements and design considerations for new construction are examined, and regulatory compliance and performance standards are introduced. The course concludes with an overview of the principles behind energy-saving dynamic controls and the integration of telemetric management tools to achieve regulatory compliance in the Operation, Maintenance and Monitoring (OM&M) phase.

Speaker: Paul Kearney:

About Clean Vapor:
Clean Vapor, The Vapor Intrusion Mitigation Company, was launched in 2007 by Tom Hatton as a design-build company, providing turn-key diagnostics, design, installation, and monitoring services for vapor intrusion mitigation.  This prevents toxic soil gas vapors from entering an indoor space and protects the safety and health of the occupants.

To date, Clean Vapor has mitigated over 30 million square feet of industrial, residential, and retail space, and has contributed to a variety of standards and guidance documents (including the US Navy’s NAVFACs).

Today, Clean Vapor has offices in Blairstown/NJ, Charlotte/NC, Atlanta/GA, and Chattanooga/TN, and continues to provide vapor intrusion mitigation systems for both new construction and existing buildings.
