Security officers will be provided updated and enhanced information on: Communications and Public Relations, Introduction to De-escalation and Defensive Tactics, Emergency Situations, The Role of a Security Guard, Legal Powers and Limitations and BLS - Stop the Bleed.

An 8 Hour In-Service like no other! Premium Investigations has structured a course curriculum that informs security officers on the overall best practices while protecting and securing a clients site. Communications and Public Relations will be taught from the perspective of how security officers physically communicate and interacts with all site occupants. P.I. believes that by adding an introductory course on de-escalation and defensive tactics to its In-Service training, security officers will have another much needed tool in their toolbelts.

The In-Service BLS-Stop the Bleed curriculum is robust. Instructors teach how to properly administer these life saving measures both manually and with the use of medical devices. Training includes the use of CPR, AED and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction in adults, children and infants. The #1 cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. Security Officers are taught to first, identify life-threatening bleeding and then take the steps to stop the bleeding through the use of pressure, packing and tourniquets. Knowing what to do when it really matters will make a life saving difference.

Emergency Situations, The Role of a Security Guard and Legal Powers and Limitations will be presented in a similar fashion to how the Pre-Assignment and OTJ were taught while incorporating one very valuable element, Site Specific Training! P.I. instructors cover each of these course topics in a class discussion format. Many of the sites security officers work on will have standard post orders, and duties. Just as many will be specific and unique. Through the use of Site Specific Training, we help security officers manage and better understand their precise role while on post.
