OVERVIEW
Advances in
technology have increased the speed and breadth of knowledge turnover, access
to information, connectedness, and convenience in our day-to-day lives. This
ever-increasing demand for bandwidth, storage, and technology advances has also
created a need for sustainability. Many organizations, governments, and people
are looking to increase bandwidth, storage, and support advancements in
technology without increasing power consumption, carbon emissions, and other
long-term damaging effects on the environment.
This seminar will explore the drivers for increased bandwidth demand and storage requirements, the need for sustainability in technology, and the latest innovations and solutions to quench the “thirst” while creating a path forward.
