This roundtable provides the goals of Learn by Doing, shares examples and lessons learned from some of the pilot year experiences, and invites participants to discuss how the OSU community might build new or modify existing Learn by Doing experiences.
Join us at this session for discussion and dialogue on effective support strategies for students considering a change to their academic program.
In this session, participants will learn about the Learning Assistant model and consider how to implement it in their own contexts.
Come learn what our students have shared with us in two years of consecutive financial wellbeing data.
This presentation spotlights student data collected by the Mental Health Task Force, introduces OSU's collaborative Mental Health Improvement Plan, and charts an inspiring path forward as OSU advances its goal of becoming a Health Promoting University.

Join a panel of experienced practitioners and hear about the intentional conversational frameworks they use, then engage in small-group discussions to build your own toolkit of strategies.
Join us at this session to learn more about the EdSights tool and next steps.
Attendees will learn more about the initiative, fundraising strategy, and OSU is strengthening its scholarship strategies, under Action 1 of Prosperity Widely Shared.
Panelists will briefly introduce the issue of math readiness as a factor in student success and then lead a broad discussion on how these problems are addressed in OSU courses and programs.
Participants will leave with concrete, easy-to-apply approaches for intentional course design as well as supportive teaching practices that create connection and belonging.

This fix-a-thon provides designated time and support for improving the digital accessibility of instructional materials.
Bring your expertise to this brainstorming session and help sketch the next round of interventions to help students experiencing academic difficulty.
Together we'll brainstorm impactful activities, support structures, and outcomes that meaningfully welcome students into the community and sustain their engagement throughout their entire first year at the university.
his session is designed as a "learning-by-doing" environment where we'll explore how AI can augment our work, all while maintaining a balanced approach of curiosity and caution.
