FOUR PAWS is delighted to invite you to its in-person conference ‘Cultivating a shared future. Advancing the Common Agricultural Policy’ (CAP) on April 23rd, moderated by Alice Hancock (Financial Times) (see program below).
During this event, we will present our report on the future CAP and foster a constructive debate aimed at reconciling farmers and civil society’s demands on animal welfare. Speakers and panelists come from diverse backgrounds (EU institutions, industry, civil society) to foster a thought-provoking and depolarized discussion.
With the next animal welfare legislative proposal(s) and the upcoming one on CAP to be unveiled in 2026, now is the time to discuss how the CAP can empower farmers and help them transition towards better animal welfare standards on EU farms.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at our event. However, due to limited capacity, please note that your registration will need to be confirmed: applicants will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration.
