What is the Food & Farm Experience?

We eat every day - and every day can, and should be, a learning experience!

The Food & Farm Experience is an annual summit designed to spark conversations and forge connections with the people, technology, and policies shaping New York's agricultural and food industries.  This two-day immersive event showcases New York State's agricultural excellence through interactive sessions with industry experts, hands-on farm and facility tours, and firsthand encounters with the state's food and farming leaders.

Held each October, the Food & Farm Experience offers attendees a chance to follow the journey of food from farm to fork, while providing high-quality resources and materials for future reference about New York’s dynamic agriculture and food sectors.

Key Features:

  • Informal, interactive sessions with 35 targeted participants

  • 2–3 actively engaged farmers joining the program to both share their insights and learn alongside attendees

  • Open, thoughtful conversations that deepen understanding of food and farming, creating valuable networking opportunities and lasting industry connections

All meals, accommodations, and workshop materials are provided for registered participants.
