HARC’s 9th Annual Collaborative Science of Home Visiting Meeting

Community-engaged research offers a paradigm for home visiting to produce high impact research that influences policy and practice. The goal of this methods-focused meeting is to increase the capacity of the field to conduct inclusive, equitable research that generates evidence that is timely, relevant, valid, and useful.

Getting around

555 Pennsylvania (the meeting location) is located at the east/US Capitol end of Pennsylvania Avenue NW, across the street from the National Gallery of Art (on Constitution Avenue), and just off the DC Mall.

555 Pennsylvania is 0.9 miles from Union Station (train station), and 0.4 miles from the Yotel hotel.

Metro from Union Station to 555 Pennsylvania either:

  • the Green/Yellow line, station "Archives/Navy Memorial/Penn Quarter" - 0.2 miles / 4 minute walk, or
  • the Red line, station "Judiciary Square" - 0.4 miles / 7 minute walk

The Yotel hotel is at 415 New Jersey Avenue, NW; it is between Union Station and 555 Pennsylvania.

From Union Station to the Yotel and from the Yotel to 555 Pennsylvania there is no Metro, so either walk or get a Taxi/Uber/Lyft
