Program Overview
We invite New Jersey Healthcare Professionals to join us for an engaging and informative program that explores the latest breakthroughs in liver disease management, cancer treatment, and transplantation. This educational event brings together leading experts to share insights on cutting-edge technologies, emerging therapies, and multidisciplinary approaches shaping the future of hepatology and liver surgery. Attendees will gain practical, evidence-based knowledge to enhance clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify groundbreaking innovations in liver surgery and transplantation, including machine liver perfusion, robotic-assisted procedures, AI applications, and xenotransplantation, and evaluate their potential impact on clinical practice.
- Understand the latest advancements in liver cancer treatment by reviewing current immunotherapy recommendations, emerging technologies like histosonics, and updates in LIRADS for liver tumor assessment.
- Discuss evolving strategies for managing common liver diseases, including new pharmacologic approaches for MASLD and alcohol-related liver disease, multidisciplinary transplant selection, and the latest AASLD guidelines and DDW highlights to improve patient care.
Target Audience
This program has been designed for oncology providers, including surgeons, physicians, fellows, residents, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants general & transplant surgery, oncology, immunology, pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology, infectious disease, neuroscience & radiology.

Physicians
Amedco LLC designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Creditsâ„¢. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Physicians Assistants
PAs may claim a maximum of 5.50 category 1 credits for completing this activity. NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Creditâ„¢ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society.
Nurse Practitioners
The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) recognizes the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as approved accreditors and allow reciprocity for AANPCP continuing education credit. Maximum 7.50 hours.
Satisfactory Completion
Learners must complete an evaluation form to receive a certificate of completion. Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety. Partial credit of individual sessions is not available. If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed above, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.
