Hydrology Fundamentals Field-based Training - Plum Creek Watershed (Crawford County)
This is one of three field trainings that will be offered this summer as part of the hydrology fundamentals and hydrologic assessment training series developed by DATCP and Wisconsin Wetlands Association.
June 10, 2025  ·  Wauzeka Village Hall

Purpose:

The purpose of these trainings is to provide opportunities for participants to:

1) observe the landscape from the perspective of source, transport and depositional zones;

2) practice reading the landscape to recognize the basic characteristics of degraded hydrology; and,

3) appraise whether hydrologic restoration could be effectively applied to address site-specific or downstream resource concerns.

Hosts:

DATCP's Conservation Engineering Unit, Wisconsin Wetlands Association, and Crawford County Land Conservation Department.

Note: Registration is free but capped at 30 people so please only register if you are certain you can attend. It is one of three field based trainings that will be offered in this series. The other two are tentatively scheduled for Eau Claire County (June 24th) and Portage County (July 17th).  Registration links for those events will be shared soon.
