CUPA-HR Iowa Chapter - Thrive in 2025 Conference

The Iowa CUPA-HR Chapter Conference is set to be a premier event reaching over 100 area HR professionals that aims to create a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration. As the first in-person conference in years, our Iowa HR professionals are looking forward to finding new ways to connect. Our theme this year is thriving. We will explore the many facets of "thriving" in the higher education workplace. Presentations include topics on wellness, the importance of self-care while caring for others, and clear and authentic communication. We will also have presentations that speak to the nuts-and-bolts of human resources that create a dynamic workplace, including recruitment analytics, knowledge of current events in HR and in the legal world, and strategic planning. Speakers come from private business, law, higher education institutions, and the world of academia and research, with a little of the performance arts thrown in. Don't worry - no one will be asked to perform! But there will be an opportunity to use theatre performance techniques to create productive and healthy relationships in the workplace.

SHRM and HRCI credits will be available after the event.
