Primary Eyecare Services and Durham LOC are very pleased to announce success in the recent procurement bid for services across DDES { Durham, Dales, Easington and Sedgefield } and North Durham CCG.

A contract award has been given for the following services which will begin on the 1st April 2019.

The contract is based on a three year contract period with the option to extend for a further two years.

Service contracts awarded are as follows:

Glaucoma Repeat Readings

Minor Eye Conditions Assessment and Treatment

Cataract : Pre Cataract Assessment

Ocular Hypertension monitoring Level 1

The service specifications are based on the current service provisions but there are slight amendments which practitioners need to be aware of.

We will cover all of these in more detail at the launch event, attendance at this event will be mandatory for all new subcontractors to a service.

There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding the service and its delivery.

If additional practice staff wish to attend the event, you can add delegates to your registration.

Arrival 6pm for a 6.30pm start Tea and Coffee will be provided as will a light buffet and hopefully chips!
