Recent advances in technology have upended the ethical conduct of engineers in surprising ways. Pejorative expressions such as tattletale, snitch and whistleblower are repudiated by NSPE in evaluating conduct in ways dealing with Artificial Intelligence, future success of a project, and use of renewable energy sources.
