The half-day conference course is designed to enhance the knowledge of healthcare professionals on pathogenesis, genetics, pathology, and genetic variants associated with C3G disease. • Describe the distinct mechanisms underlying C3G and IC-MPGN, focusing on how complement dysregulation and immune complex deposition lead to these diseases.
• Identify genetic and acquired disruptions in complement regulation and their impact on glomerular function in C3G and IC-MPGN
• Discuss recent therapeutic advances targeting complement dysregulation, like iptacopan and pegcetacoplan, and their potential in modifying disease progression.
