Join us at the 2nd Annual “Advances in the Management of Liver Cancer: A Multidisciplinary Approach” CME event. This free full-day course focuses on epidemiology, screening, and biomarkers for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), evolving therapeutic approaches to HCC, including surgical, locoregional, systemic, and combination therapies, and updates on the diagnosis and treatment of cholangiocarcinoma (CCA). The format will include expert didactic lectures, case presentations, and panel discussions with interactive audience Q&A.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the recent changes in epidemiology of HCC and adjustments in screening and surveillance guidelines
- Explain the most up-to-date medical oncology management of HCC including recent advances in immunotherapy
- Understand current therapeutic options for treatment of CCA
- Understand the multidisciplinary approach needed for liver cancers (HCC and CCA) including hepatology, medical oncology, interventional radiology, and surgical expertise
Target Audience
This activity is designed for oncology providers, including surgeons, physicians, fellows, residents, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who manage patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) across various clinical specialties including; general & transplant surgery, oncology, immunology, pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology, infectious disease, neuroscience & radiology. While this educational content is geared towards health care professionals, we believe this topic will appeal to an even wider audience.
