Program Overview

VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
The practice of nephrology is rapidly evolving. Value-based care is now firmly embedded in payment models developed by the CMS. Population-level data analytics can remarkably affect patient outcomes and improve the efficiency the practice of nephrology. In this one-day symposium, practicing nephrologists will hear experts from the fields of data science, health economics, health technology and practice management discuss the latest trends that will affect the practice of nephrology.

Learning Objectives

1. Understand how to leverage big data to improve the delivery of chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and transplant care.
2. Identify the structure and incentives of new Medicare policies on value-based care.
3. Discuss the Temporal trends in the evolution of reimbursement models.

4. Target various  strategies to improve documentation, billing, and coding when caring for patients with kidney disease.

5. Explore how to improve the delivery of telehealth services and remote care.
