Columbia University Irving Medical Center invites you to join the leading educators from Columbia University, addressing an
overview of high yield challenging scenarios in the understanding the clinical and strategic management of obesity. Through a combination of lectures and case-based presentations, this course will deliver up-to-date and cutting-edge information that can be directly integrated into clinical practice.

Learning Objectives

-Discuss the barriers of weight loss and how maintenance plays a role.

-Target anti-obesity drugs that achieve significant clinical weight loss.

-Identify the guidelines for Bariatric surgery.

-Explore how genetics plays a role in weight loss and how counselling can impact obesity management.
