This course is meant to build practical confidence and clinical decision-making skills for therapists who occasionally treat people with Parkinson's. The course will review key concepts underlying motor impairments in PD and emphasize actionable strategies that can be easily implemented into practice including but not limited to: amplitude-based training, external cueing, transitions, dual tasking, and awareness of medication timing.
