This course provides foundational training in musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSKUS) with emphasis on clinical application and hands-on skill development. Participants will review basic ultrasound principles, image optimization, and key terminology necessary for accurate interpretation. The course will explore the clinical indications and diagnostic rationale for incorporating MSKUS into musculoskeletal practice, highlighting its role in clinical decision-making. Participants will gain practical experience using handheld ultrasound devices to identify and label key upper extremity structures, including the supraspinatus tendon, acromioclavicular joint, median nerve, and ulnar collateral ligament. By the end of the course, participants will have a stronger understanding of both the technical and clinical integration of MSKUS into rehabilitation settings.
