Wildlife hospitals and veterinary clinics throughout Australia frequently receive injured, displaced reptiles requiring assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. This practical pre-conference workshop has been developed specifically for veterinary nurses who wish to increase their confidence when working with commonly presented non-venomous reptile species. Using real-world examples and hands-on learning opportunities, participants will explore the principles of reptile husbandry, hospitalisation and nursing care, with a focus on species commonly encountered along the east coast of New South Wales.
