Only session.
Dialects are one of the most fun character traits actors get to play with, but often they are under researched, under rehearsed, and under assimilated. Many actors find dialects to be a hurdle rather than a help. And how do you go about learning one or working on one without the guidance of a coach? This workshop will teach students a dialect acquiring system, and highlight often overlooked features of dialect work. Bring a writing utensil, and be prepared to speak aloud. A plus but not a necessity would be ear phones that work with a personal device (such as a phone or tablet), and that personal device, in order to listen to sound samples from a website if you choose.
