Using templates and colored pencils or any design program student's have available, this quick exercise in scenic design will ask participants to design at least 3 walls of a room based on a mystery client's choices in clothing. Goals for this exercise include; 1. Creative interpretation and process, 2. Critical analysis of information and translation into an art medium, 3. Empathy in design as we try to develop a product that will please another person. I will provide art materials and printouts for participants to work on. Participants are welcome to use their devices (laptops, tablets, phones, etc.) and I will have a template they can download for manipulation.
