SketchUp is a powerful (and free!) web-based 3D Modeling application. Mastering SketchUp allows scenic designers to quickly build everything from a full theatre model to a detailed prop. This workshop will lead participants through the basics of SketchUp by building furniture pieces. Appropriate for designers at any level of familiarity with SketchUp- beginners and advanced users alike. Bring a laptop (and a mouse if you have one) to follow along! Participants can bring a laptop to follow along. A 3-button mouse makes SketchUp easier, but it's possible on a touchpad as well.
