Learning Objectives:
1. Develop an understanding of the shortages of SUD professionals and how ethical and competent clinical supervision can address the problem.
2. Understand the four key ethical principles in SUD services (Justice, Beneficence, Autonomy, and Nonmalficience) and explore how each of these key ethical principles is captured in SUD professionals Codes of Ethics and how this relates to supervision of SUD professionals.
3. Articulate means for applying the key ethical principles in SUD services to clinical supervision.
Learning Objectives:
1. Explore the definition of trauma and how trauma affects the developing brain.
2. Discuss the different attachment styles and their impact on relationships and emotional health.
3. Provide practical tips for professionals working with individuals affected by complex trauma and attachment challenges.
