The success coaching workshop includes a brief review of the International Coach Federation's options for attaining ICF accreditation, a review Transformative Emotional Intelligence, our book on professional coaching that includes ICF core competencies and ethics (Professional Coaching: A Transformative and Research-Based Model) and, the online Skills for Career And Life Excellence® (SCALE®), and Margo Murray's in-depth process for providing positive, effective feedback. The day is structured as follows: Introductions and learning purposes for being here: Setting the stage for learning. Understanding the ICF foundations of professional coaching, theory, and practice. Understanding the skills-based EI model: Transformative Emotional Intelligence Learning strategies and skills for professional coaches. Key elements of motivation for learning and performance. Professional coaching best practices: When to give positive feedback and when to coach. Group Practice: Integrating appropriate EI skills for feedback and coaching. Wrap up, report out, and presentation of certificates.
