Drs. Dave and Edie have been working to expand EI’s reach into the corporate and government sectors. In this interactive session, they will facilitate activities with participants to explore tools and techniques for harnessing the positive impact of a collective (aggregate) orientation for EI. Questions such as “how can I get my department to use EI to greater effect?” and “what can an emotionally intelligent organization achieve?” will be unpacked and addressed. We will also consider the results of an organizational health diagnostic that uses EI as a centerpiece. In tandem with the outstanding assessments proffered by Nelson, Low, and Hammett, these results will be used to discuss how we can work together to advance EI at the aggregate (macro) level for the benefit of the entire workplace.
