Trainers often struggle with how to provide objective feedback, because we are human, and we want to "be nice", or "sugar coat" things. When we are training a new dispatcher, it is essential that we provide objective, constructive feedback. Not only does this documentation help to support the trainee's growth, but it also helps to ensure there is sufficient documentation to support a trainee's release from training (or not). During this class, we will review scenarios, and practice providing objective feedback. The class is interactive and hands-on. The goal is for attendees to come out of the class with skills they can use to provide more efficient, constructive, objective feedback.
