Got a last minute Shakespeare audition? Have a callback for a play in verse? In this workshop, we'll explore a technique for working with classical text that will help activate dense language and bring us closer to experiencing the character. The technique, often called Image Structuring, helps clarify heightened language for the actor and audience. The instructor will provide some text for everyone to work on and then we'll use the technique to test the benefit of quickly interpreting and speaking the text in audition formats.
