In this workshop, participants will learn to connect to themselves, their roots, and their goals. Sankofa is an Akan (African) word meaning "go back and get it." A manifesto is a declaration of beliefs and values. Through a series of writing prompts, students will consider their place and purpose, and at the end offer to share their work out loud with the workshop community.
